I'm pretty good, a little busy since we left the planet but good. Aaaaare YOU okay, though?

Not really. [ if he gives her an inch, maybe they could move on. if he keeps resisting, they'll be circling around it all day. ] I dunno if you heard about Sascha? He's a close friend of mine and Kitty's. [ or at least, he was. he's not sure he can get past this, and he's definitely sure it's not fair that he should feel so obligated to do so. ]

Anyway, uh, under the circumstances, I think maybe just having a small get together with close friends on the Tourist may be better. [ he can't go on the iskaulit. sascha's still being held there and -- and even if he were back to normal it's going to be a long time before he feels safe enough to set foot there, so spend a whole party? and kitty won't enjoy her party if he's a nervous wreck through it. ]

[Oh. Yeah, she'd seen somebody hanging out with Kitty and Winn at the party, and she'd heard but not responded to Sam's warning about him, but she didn't really make the connection until now.]

Oh. Oh geez, I'm really sorry, Winn. Yeah, yeah we can do a small party, sure. How are you feeling? Is Kitty okay? How about Sascha?

[ how is he? he's a basketcase. how's kitty? he's going to drive her crazy too, if he doesn't start letting her sleep. he skips both of those questions because he can't think of any subtle way to address them and move on. ]

He's not himself, but we're taking care of him. He's cooperating, and, we both really hope he'll be back to normal soon.

Yeah - the party. [ he'd much rather talk about the party ] It's gonna be the Tourist crew, obviously [ can't kick them out, and he wouldn't want to if they could. kitty's there almost as much as she's on the windrose, they're her friends too. ] the Windrose crew, the X-men, and Tyrion - if they all wanna come. So it's gonna be a little crowded, I thought we could have, like multiple epicenters, like the cargo hold - though that's gonna take some clearing - the kitchen, and my room, spread out a little bit. I got music taken care of, and some salty snacks.

I've been thinking about it since April.

[ since she told him her birthday. of course, he had something much grander in mind...there was supposed to be a flash mob because she loves dancing, but then...he went into a coma and there wasn't enough time, and now...now this party still feels like more than he can handle but not having anything at all is out of the question. ]

Do you happen to have...candles, or, anything festive looking? [ he was going to make so many things, but he only barely had time to finish making her presents. ]

Of course, and I had Cisco drop it off, I got plans for that. You got any tunes you want me to add into it?

Hmmm let's see... I only know the ones that are on the network files, and there's only one song on there I know from home and it's... not much of a party song. [Or even one that really fits the original singer nowadays.] Anything you guys like would probably be great though.

We got everything Cisco had on his phone, and I'm converting as much of what I got on my phone as I have the time to, so there'll be a bunch.
