Oh, yeah! There's a library on the Iskaulit, and all of the comms have a bunch of files people on the fleet have put on there. There's all kinds of books and music and movies!

[She always takes care of him when people he knows vanish, it's time he repaid it. Besides, she's far less used to this than he is. ]

[He'll here a sniffle and hitch before she actually uses her words.]

H-hey, Cheesy. Yeah, Qing's gone back home, looks like.

[She doesn't answer his question out right, though, although maybe she doesn't need to.]

[He figured. He forgets, sometimes, how he's hardened himself to this. Back in Paradisa, this was regular, even more so than it is here. People just...left. You learned to accept it.

But Pinkie's different. She gets so connected to others, on a level that astounds him. It's truly something to be proud of, to aspire to. But he knows it means losing people hurts her more, too. ]

I'm sorry. Can I do anything?

[She doesn't want to be alone right now. And honestly? Seeing and feeling him is something she needs too.]

Of course I can. I'll be there before you know it.

[He'd do anything for her. ANYTHING. To give her even the tiniest bit of relief, of comfort. ]

[She'll make it out to the cargo bay to meet him, hugging Gummy tight in the mean time. She'll try to smile a little bit when Cheese shows up, but it doesn't do much than tug slightly at the corners of her mouth.]

[Vash had heard through a bit of a grape vine that one of the people who recently left was a close friend of Pinkie's. As soon as he heard he tried to call up his favorite pink pony.]

Hey, Pinkie? You there?

[Oh, but if it doesn't just break his heart to see her looking so sad. He'll gallop right over to her to pull her into a hug. He wishes he could take all that pain away. He can't, so the best he can do is just...be there. ]

I'm sorry.

[She returns the hug tightly, almost desperately, reassuring herself with the fact that he's still here with her. Still, she starts sobbing into his shoulder.]

I miss him already...! I mean, I know he's back home but-- but I don't know if he's gonna remember us or not! What if he NEVER comes back and forgets this forever?!

[He hugs her close, one foreleg rubbing her back, trying to be HER center. It was about time he could do the same for her, as she has been for him so many times. ]

I know, it sucks a lot. He might come back, and he might remember everything...but he might not, either. You can never tell. All you can do is make sure you remember them.

...You know what might help?

Do stuff that they liked to do. Or...eat their favourite food, or listen to their favourite song. Things that'll let you remember them in a happy way. You'll still miss them, but at least it'll be happy thoughts about them, instead of the sad ones.

[Sniffle.] Y-yeah. Yeah, that might help a bit. I'm not really good at sewing, but I can make some of the veggie dishes he'd make for me.

[He gives her a gentle nuzzle.]

There you go. I promise it'll help, just a little. And you've always got me for when it doesn't.

[Her nuzzle back is deeper but no less gentle.]

Yeah. I'm... REALLY glad you're still, Cheesy.

[Ah, shoot! Welp, she does a horrible job of it, but she TRIES to scrub off some of her tears before answering the comm.]

[Vash doesn't mind the tears, but won't say anything about it as she wipes it away.]

I'm doing alright, but what about you? I saw the shuffle that just happened.

[Her smile fades, but... she still doesn't want to answer the question outright.]
